Bugs in the skin tells the story of an elderly man suffering from delusional parasitosis - a condition in which patients believe they are infested by insects or other parasitic agents.

The images that make up the book are sourced from old textbooks on microbiology, parasitology, medicine and virology. Through the collection and accumulation of these images, the aim is to construct an abstract visual delirium - driven by overload and the inherent incomprehensibility of the material.

This narrative of obsessive infestation becomes a metaphor for a toxic relationship between two people, marked by the same obsessive, morbid dynamics explored in the project.
