Das Cabinet is a project commissioned by the textile company BERTO through a collaboration with IED – Istituto Europeo di Design.

The garment from the Forgive me Father for I have sinned series is deconstructed into its fundamental components: aesthetics and meaning.

The aesthetic draws inspiration from sacred architecture - churches and Gothic stained glass - tracing their lines to define the contours of a tailored suit. This garment serves as a reflection on the history of fashion and women’s clothing, as well as its evolution in terms of female emancipation.

This aesthetic is deliberately accentuated through the signature elements of German Expressionism: a distinctive black and white palette and a dramatic scenography.
